I'm a wife, mother of two, and a tenured ex-Art teacher who is now a stay at home mom. My new journey began three years ago when I was offered a job opportunity as an Art Director for a new start-up company. During this time, I had discovered that I was expecting our second child. Since I was frustrated with teaching, I jumped at the opportunity. Although it was scary to do since I was expecting, I was completely excited by this opportunity. When I started this job I was loving the creative freedom and was feeling like I had a purpose. After being on the job for four months, the funds had not materialized. We had to learn to live frugally on one salary. When your forced to do so, material things don't seem as important. It has been wonderful being home with my kiddos, my family, and my art. I hope that this blog will help those, like me, to unleash their feathers and soar, so that they might experience a full heart and soul thru the process of creativity.
